Lamisil Cream is used to treat skin irritation and itching caused by different types of fungal skin infections such as fungal infections of the skin, nails, scalp and nails. It contains terbinafine hydrochloride, which belongs to a class of medications called tetracyclines. Terbinafine works by blocking the enzyme squalene 5 alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into. This action leads to a reduction in the production of a number of chemicals in the body, including immune function, blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Terbinafine Hydrochloride belongs to a class of medications called tetracyclines. This inhibition leads to the eventual reduction of cell membrane synthesis and the eventual elimination of the fungi. Terbinafine is used to treat a variety of fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds. It is typically prescribed for skin infections caused by yeasts, yeasts that are sensitive to terbinafine, and moulds that are sensitive to terbinafine.
Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before using Lamisil Cream. Lamisil Cream is applied once a day, preferably at the same time each day and will keep for 4 weeks. Not all people using Lamisil AT 1% cream will experience the condition. However, you can use it as directed, but for most people the cream should be applied about 10 to 20 times a day (every four hours) after sex.
